The study you mentioned only used nutramigen which has corn as a
component.   Since corn is a common allergen, it's possible that a
statistically significant number of the babies also were reacting to the
corn.

since i don't have access to the article, but depending on the age of
the babies, it's very possible that there would be significant
frustration just because of the difference in taste of nutramigen.  Four
days is also often not enough of a time period for significant changes
to occur.  In many cases it's enough, but certainly not or not even
necessarily most.

Having said that, I do like your book for the most part.  Not all, but
most.
