P2P.

I have a stay at home mother exclusively breastfeeding her third child, who is now 9 weeks old. She ebf with her other two and had no issues. This baby seems to be exhausted all of the time. He nurses, then naps, then nurses again about 20 minutes later. She is not able to rouse him after he falls asleep. She has attempted doing massage and compression while nursing. Baby is having a bunch of normal stools every day (at least 3) and is gaining appropriately. She does state that he seems to have periods of strong apnea at night and that he is a noisy sleeper. Doctor is not concerned about this. Mom is exhausted and frustrated. Is there something that I'm missing here? Nothing is jumping out at me.

Warmly,
Stephanie Rodriguez, IBCLC, RLC
