Sorry to hear about your patient complaint and all that it entailed!   I wish
your manager had been more supportive.
Because breastfeeding is such an emotion laden experience (understatement!)
we have ALL had patients that either love us or hate us, sometimes on the same
day!!   In my last hospital based LC job, I started a practice of asking the
patients that I could tell were very happy with me to write a letter saying
just that to the director of nursing. I explained that the LC positions in our
hospital were relatively new and precarious etc, etc.......I know many of them
did write-always a good thing!   Although we do send patient satisfaction
surveys to all consults, an extra reques
