Hello,

This is my first post on lactnet since I am new to the list. I have
enjoyed the information very much.

I do have a response to the discussion regarding milk supply and water
intake. During my thesis research, I came across an old reference which
may provide support of the practice of "drinking to thirst" vs
overhydrating. This reference is: Illingworth, R. S., & Kilpatrick, B.
(1953). Lactation and fluid intake in Lancet, volume 2, pg 1175.

Hope this is a helpful resource. An example of an oldie but goodie!
