Might have to do with the overall slowing of metabolism R/T hypothroidism.
However hypothyroid person feels dragged out and tired.  May have more to
do with perception than actual low milk.  ("I'm so tired, oh no, the baby
is crying to be fed again, oh no, I must not have enough milk, I'm so
tired, must be affecting my milk supply......")

My sample of one (daughter) had no problem with milk supply when at about
4-5 months post partum her hypothyroidism was dx.
