Nancy,
I have not been keeping breastfed babies NPO before circumcision because as
was asked, how much milk can be in their stomach after a feed on day 2.?
However they probably are unintentionally NPO as I come into the nursery ( I
ask why isn't this baby with mom) put the lidocaine vial in my pocket to
warm it then exam the babies then do the circs.
