Hello My name is Mandi Porta.  I am rejoining the list after a year and a
half hiatus due to an international move.  Needless to say, I am very
happy to be back in the lactation field.
I have recently been appointed the Coordinator for the Baby Friendly
Hospital Initiative for the Hutt Valley Department of Health in New
Zealand.  I am very excited about the position and my first job is to
review the policy.  There is a solid policy in place but it is up for
review.  I always work better when I have examples and would be very
thankful to anyone who would send a copy of their policy privately to my
email.  The policy I am charged with designing is for a maternity hospital
that delivers over 2000 babies a year.  It has a special care baby unit
and antenatal clinic attached to the delivery suite.  Thank you very much
