i recentley read your letter I am also a level three nurse and work in a pedi
setting and taking the exam next week, I find that there are premies who are
going to be formula feed who really won`t take p.o. well till that tube is
out. We have begun to let this occur ,letting the baby show us with good
results these are the feeders and growers who are truly just learning to
feed. I have also noted breastbabies will do much better at breast with
deeper swallows I am sure the tube in your thrast for weeks and months has
got to make it so unconfortable. We change tubes per our protoccal trying
not to need many replacements Sue Please excuse any errors I am new to this
and no one is at home to help me correct this.
