Hello,
I wish to collect some informations about the leaves after the birth of a
baby, in Germany particularly in order to answer to a french Mom who works
there;
Is there a legal leave for breastfeeding in Germany?
Is there a possibility of a sick leave for pathological labour ? (for
example in France there has been no legal leave for breastfeeding since
about 30-40 years and women who are employed must actually CHEAT : when they
are at the end of their maternity leave they have to ask their doctor for a
medical leave / a sick leave of 15 days (renewable once) so they save one
month of breastfeeding; and "breastfeedin" motive should not be written or
our Medical Insurance could act against it (breastfeeding is not a
disease!!!)
What about Germany? and if you know also about the situation in
Great-Britain, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and USA? because
I wish to collect as much information as possible around the world; Maybe it
could help us: showing the example of foreign countries;
Best regards,
