Knowing that many of us on Lactnet come from a host of different backgrounds
and nationalities, could I please get breastfeeding statistics from
countries other than the US?  My task this month is to review World
Breastfeeding Week activities in my area and to compare local and US rates
to the rest of the world's.  Please e-mail me privately, so I don't miss
anyone--and post to the list, too, as I know I'm not the only one
interested.  What are your initiation rates?  6 mo's?  1 yr?  What year is
your information from?
