I would add (and this goes back to our discussion about the underweight 
baby) that I have found that with some of these non-latching (or minimally 
latching) babies if they are given a small pre-feed (either by finger feed, cup, 
bottle) that they get a bit of energy and are able to sustain a more efficient 
feed at breast. It is kind of a "teaser" if you will to peak their interest.
