My understanding of the situation in other areas, is that babies are
allowed to suckle on male nipples, as a comfort, when the mother is not
present and the father is carer.

I've never seen it suggested that any feeding is going on.

The only time 'feeding' has been mooted, is if the unlikely situation of
a dead mother and the only person alive being male, the baby suckling
would stimulate supply and the baby wouldn't die. Never seen it
described as happened, but as theoretical.

While I am aware that the tissue make up of a man's breast is similar to a womans and they very well COULD produce milk, i am wondering if there are any studies that have been done on whether or not that milk is even nutritious in any way shape or form?
