I have never seen this reported in the popular press - at least not in
the US.

Dos anyone have any citations to support this?  It has never been
suggested to me before that hypercin does not act as an MAOI in humans.
I would love to see reports on this since I am quite disturbed by the
number of depressed breastfeeding and pregnant women I see taking SJW
because they think herbs can not be harmful.
