Just wanted to let you all know that on the way up to Natick, Mass, to attend
Marsha Walker's conf on suck I had to stop by Bayer (the aspirin people) to
film a short spot for CNN to be shown either Monday or Tuesday.
Renate Abstoss and I job share a Sanvita account there that we are
extremely enthusiastic about. We have been doing this since March, so have
some Moms returning to work now. We both have private depots and work with a
lot of working mothers. When they hear about the services that the moms at
Bayer get (on-site breastfeeding classes, on-site pumps, telephone follow-up
every week after birth for 6 weeks) they are amazed.
The CNN reporter is a friend of the family (with 4 children, and yes,
she has worked and breastfed also) who heard about this job in during the
course of a conversation about something else.
I wish I could be more specific about the times. I believe it is a
feature that will be aired at least three times.
Please remember that Renate and I do our best, but had no control over
what was said or the final product. And I would love to hear any comments
you have. You may e-mail me privately if you wish. I will be NO MAIL from
6/23 or 24 to 7/30 (after the exam-I am the proctor for Hartford)
I believe I am supposed to state tha Medela pays us.
From Ellen in CT-spring is gone, it's summer now-looking forward to the
month at the shore coming up
