Hi,

there is lots of attention in the media here, about causes of the increased
allergy and related diseases (eg the incidence of asthma among children has
doubles in 10 years). One of the things that are mentioned very often is the
hygiene. There are cited a few studies that showed a relation between bathing
and allergies. Babies who are bathed more than three times a week have a higher
occurence of allergy.

I do not have the references, but,  Esther maybe you could track down these
researches and then you have something that you could show in your hospital.
Maybe they would be less pushy about the bathing if they see bathing isn't
allways such a good thing.
