That is very interesting information to know and I was completely
unaware of it!  Just another example of how insurance companies call the
shots, I guess.  However, the peds we are talking about are working in
and for the hospital where LC's are also on staff.  These are not Peds
in private practice.  There would therefore not be that restriction
(having to refer to someone else in private practice) would there?
Especially if the LC visits are not charged for, which is still the case
in many hospitals.  However, even if they are, since both the physician
and the LC work for the same hospital....  Am I wrong?
