I have seen a baby with bright green stools when the mother was
taking the mini-pill. However, in this case, the baby (about 8 wks
if I remember correctly) was not gaining and was very unsettled and
unhappy. Mom's supply and baby's weight gain had started off just
fine. The mom was motivated and was doing everything "right"
including making sure the babe had an opportunity to nurse
frequently, and an awareness of the importance of hindmilk (to avoid
possible lactose overload leading to green stools).

Mom had been told the mini-pill was perfectly safe during lactation
so didn't even think to mention it when we discussed her history and
medications. Finally after much head-scratching and consultation
with a very wide variety of bf helpers, there was an "aha!" moment.
When she discontinued the mini-pill, things improved overnight and
they returned to their happy nursing ways.
