HEALTH insurance not LIFE insurance.  duh!  :-(

i guess my reply no longer counts, but she could counter that if she
switched to formula her child would be at much greater risk of
respiratory infections, ear infections (etc.) so they should really put
up the premiums for *him* (her?).  I would think that generally most
children get more colds per year (especially formula-fed babies) than do
mothers get mastitis.  Colds aren't the extent of it either, of course,
as digestive problems (diarrhea etc.) can necessitate medical treatment,
so that too should be taken into account for a formula-fed infant.

I would say that if they want to make her go up a level for bf, they
should make her kid go up *2* levels for formula feeding.  So perhaps
*she* stays at level 1 if she formula feeds, but her infant goes up to
level 3.  ;-)

Even then, I would think that it would be a bit stupid, because there
are perhaps things she can save on "short term" by bf.  Birth control if
using LAM?  Perhaps something else along the way.  Perhaps curing her
own or other family member's ear infections with millk...who knows.  But
I dont think it really should go up at all.  I think the formula side
should go up though...
