I do agree some of the result in some  research say. I think this only applies in developed coutries where they use so much sofisticated, soft,fancy beds, and the life style people have in those .
 
 I think  in most asian countries(where I am originally from) , keeping baby away from mom is the most hurting thing to mom and baby . It is heartless. you can't even imagine  having your baby in different bed.
 
Bedding style in some countries where  mom always sleep with thier babies/kids  is very safe. Hand made   very firm compact cotton matress is used. 
 
 
 
 
 
my conlusion is
 these  researches don't  apply in all over the world but in developed countries.
