In the flip-book "Good Nutrition for Your Baby" by Elizabeth Jones, RD,
Pediatric Nutrition Consultant, Dr. Jones states breastmilk on demand, at
least 5 feedings every 24 hours. (This is in the section on 4-6
months-developmental stage of your baby - Looking forward to recommendations
for 5-7 months it remains the same for breastfeedings,but does discuss the
intro. of a cup at this next stage.)  Dr. Jones is well respected in the
Southern California area and this is a rather late answer to Rachelle's
question some time ago about info in print about how often a 5-6 month old
would normally be feeding.  I know there are many other sources...
