Hi Becky,

Haven't you yet tried to use a pink balloon for demonstrating a pump on?
I always use them (Medela has balloons with a nipple and areola printed on
them).
Only thing you have to keep in mind is to have the balloon make a good seal
with the flange of the pump.
When I demonstrate a pump like this I start at minimum suction, then
proceed to medium, then maximum suction and I tell people :"look how this
fragile balloon can 'handle' this pump, it doesn't pop; pumping should
never hurt". OTOH I've got the comment (of people using the pump at their
cheeks) outch, that hurts!
Please let me know what you think after trying the balloon thing.

Kind regards,
