Sometimes these babies seem to be over hungry, or the
milk flows too fast in the beginning (pump first) or too slow
(stimulate let down before trying babe at breast),some have
had a traumatic birth with a birth injury, and I can't help
wondering if some have been suctioned aggresively
at birth and have a sore mouth and/or throat. Sometimes
quiet music helps to calm mom and baby and loving
support from caregivers is essential.
