Karen asked for references on tandem nursing. La Leche League probably has
the most information, and I have a good article on nursing during pregnancy
that appeared in LEAVEN, the LLL Leader's magazine (it might help the doctor
understand the whole issue a bit better). That article cites a Journal of
Human Lactation article: "Breastfeeding during pregnancy," Moscone & Moore,
JHL, 9(2), 1993, 83-88. There was also an article on tandem nursing in
LEAVEN in 1993 (Sept/Oct), pp 69-71. You may want to contact a Leader in
London and see if she has the articles.

You can order LLLI's "Nursing Two, Is It For You?" booklet (No. 53) from La
Leche League Canada Phone: 613-448-1842 Fax: 613-448-1845.
