Greetings!

I am an IBCLC (1995) with 10+ years with LLL. I was ACL for 3 years and
DA for 5. I have an opportunity to serve LLL again in the APL (Area
Professional Liaison) dept. I am concerned about possible conflicts with
my "just starting" private LC practice. In my practice, I rent pumps, do
classes and home office/home visits. As an AAPL, I would provide
references and resources to LLLLs to help moms they counsel.

I would appreciate any input on the conflicts this position may have with
my business. It may help to know I am in a small city where the hospital
has little respect for either LLL or an IBCLC who is not an RN.

Thanks!

Marie Simpson, IBCLC, LLL, in KY
