Meg:  I suggest that you lend them the Medela pedal pump and a kit.  If the
pump comes back, great, but if it doesn't, oh well.  The pedal pump was
designed to be used by moms without electricity and who can't pay for a
rental pump.  You might also offer a small but important gift when the pump
is returned.  I also am a rental station and frequently used kits come back,
I usually give the kits to the hospital to sterilize and use when the moms
forget their kits while visiting their babies.  If you would like any used
kits/parts, tell me where and I'll be glad to send them to you.  I've sent
kits to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Nirobi, and am always looking for someone to
take them off my hands.
