I am working with a mother who just had gall bladder surgery. She went
through a period of low mmilk production following surgery, and was able to
build it back up with frequent nursing. Unfortunately her condition is quite
severe, and she has been told she must go on a No Fat diet for 2 months.

She is concerned that her lack of fat intake will cause altered fatty acid
composition and may effect her baby's brain. I would just like to know if
anyone has ever had a mom with this situation, and if supplements were
indicated for the baby.

Thank you,
Brenda Phipps
