Good day ladies,

I am still very new to this field and am seeking your wisdom as to "tricks" you use to encourage a wide mouth when a babe is trying to latch on ... Babe will latch well if mom is lying down but mom finds her back hurts too much - is there really one position that encourages a "wider mouth" than another - this is mom's second babe - she had NO issues with the first but this one is making her "grow old quick" and to top it off she now has to have a root canal done next week.  Babe is now three weeks old and mom says things are better but still not great.  Suggestions?
