Dropping out of lurkdom to second the suggestion to contact Dr. Palmer.
From his presentations at the LLL NJ Area Conference last Spring, he made it
clear that he came to be pro-breastfeeding becuase of his work on snoring,
sleep apnea etc. He identifies significant differences in the palate
development of the breastfed individual and points to other problems caused
by tight frenula- tongue thrust, malocclusion, sleep disturbances etc.
Perhaps his orientation may qualify him as more objective than the
Pro-breastfeeding docs' that the Dr. is rejecting w/o consideration.
