Janaki,
I have worked with an epileptic mother who nursed successfully on antiseizure
medication (dilantin) for almost a year, then her seizures intensified, and
she weaned to take an experiemental drug available only in the UK. (Someone
was mailing it to her doctors).  It is sad that breastfeeding, which can
reduce maternal stress, becomes a stressor due to society's reaction to it.
