Dear all,

Another note regarding the ad/company

Just curious, I clicked on the bottom right side of the website, (find it if you can) where it is written: "this site is intended for US residents"
and this is what you can read...

"All content on this site is intended solely for residents of the United States. Bright Beginnings products displayed on this site are not intended for sale or distribution in countries other than the United States.

Bright Beginnings Nutritionals recognize that human milk is the ideal nutrition for optimal infant health and nutrition. Although Bright Beginnings is an approximation of human milk, human milk provides numerous health advantages to infants not provided in infant formula and is the preferred infant nutrition when possible.

Bright Beginnings Nutritionals appreciate the public health importance of encouraging breast feeding. We support the World Health Organization's goal of increased breastfeeding prevalence and duration in developing countries. In keeping with WHO standards of marketing of breast milk substitutes, Bright Beginnings affirms that:
Breastfeeding provides numerous health benefits, including protection against numerous infections, not provided by infant formula and is the superior form of infant nutrition.
Breastfeeding places added nutritional requirements on mothers. It is therefore imperative that lactating mothers consume a complete and balanced diet containing adequate calories and water to ensure production of ample amounts of breast milk.
Introduction of breast milk substitutes, even on a supplementary basis, can interfere with successful breastfeeding.
Failure to initiate breastfeeding immediately after birth can lead to inability to successfully breastfeed later. The decision to formula feed is difficult to reverse.
The improper preparation and use of infant formulas can have negative health consequences for infants including illness, malnutrition and undernutrition, and even death. Mothers using infant formula should therefore read and follow mixing, feeding and storage instructions carefully.
Infant formula cost should be considered when deciding upon a feeding method. Formula feeding is an expensive practice. "

Would anyone just know that clicking the *us resident* link you would have a little something regarding breastmilk?

Arghhhhhh.
