I am concerned that your MD wants the baby to gain 1-1/2 oz /day, when she is
already gaining almost 1/2 oz/day already- now she is expected to double or
tripple what is considered "normal" weight gain for a "normal" baby!?!?  In
three months she has already gained almost three pounds from her discharge
wt! I would like to respectfully remind you that this is YOUR baby and you
should do what your gut feeling says is best. If you are feeling you must try
SOMTHING, I would suggest pumping and putting the creamy fatier breastmilk in
an SNS a few times a day.
