Nikki, you made me think of something.  It seems many of the c-section moms
I go in to counsel on brestfeeding seem very "unsure" of holding and caring
for their baby.  They also seem somewhat detached from the whole thing.
Many times I will be talking about positioning, etc. and they just don't
seem to be interested in what I have to say.  I know there could be other
reasons going on, but maybe that lack of initial skin to skin has something
to do with it.
