Depression is (for obvious reasons) important to treat.  At a recent
conference I heard Tom Hale give the cautions about Prozac and
recommendations to use other meds as listed previously on Lactnet.
However, his advice was, that, if a woman has tried other meds and Prozac
was the only option or the best option,then it was important to treat the
depression and watch the infant for side effects, weight gain, et.
