I think I asked this the last time we had a goaround on this  article on 
ac/pc weights and I don't think anyone ever responded:
 
What type of scale was used for the ac/pc weights in the  study?  Was it an 
electronic scale as Jean describes which is accurate  within two grams, and is 
designed for that purpose, or was it a balance beam  scale such is used in 
most pediatric offices?
