Im behind on Lnet so this might have been raised already
reguarding Illene's post on the baby with blood in the stools.
Has this babies hemoglobin been checked? How much blood is
being lost? An eosinophils on the peripheral smear? Since baby
saw a GI secialist was endoscopy and biopsy done?
Maybe the formula trail is with elemental formula to see if a
protein allergy is the cause. I cant see what else the rationale
would be. Good luck getting a breastfeeder to drink it.
