Consider this a confession.  Lest you think I am super organized (KD, this
is for you!), please note that although I do have a wonderful system for
filing and retrieval of things, I too am afflicted with PILES.

My "to be read" pile is on one desk and smaller than usual at the moment,
only about 18 inches high.

I have another pile (from most recent conference) on the floor near one
filing cabinet.  I suspect that will mostly end up in the circular file, as
it has been collecting dust for several months and I have learned that the
dustier the pile, the less useful it becomes!   :-D

No system is perfect, I guess....
