As this horrible drama of the babies who have been hospitalized with severe
neurological damage which was probably caused by a soy-based formula which
is imported from Germany, we now have doctors and reps from the Health
Ministry coming out with the dangers of soy-based formulas for babies!! Why
does such a tragedy have to bring this information out in the open. If they
already knew about this danger, why wasn't it published until now. I really
hope this ends in huge litigation against all the powers that be.

"Dr. Itamar Shalit, the head of infectious
disease unit at Schneider Hospital, told
Haaretz on Friday that there is documentation of cases in the world – but
not in Israel – in which baby food based on soy beans caused nervous-system
damage in babies. Dr. Shalit said that there are several possible
explanations to the phenomena, including the presence of toxic material or
bacteria in the food. "
