I believe there is some mention of this in the LLLI booklet on 
Breastfeeding the Baby with Reflux.  It mentions that with silent 
reflux, this same type of reaction can be observed.

It was also mentioned in the same booklet that for breastfed babies 
this doesn't necessarily correlate to when they are eating.
