In the UK our chart (UK90 -- will be WHO plus UK90 in 2009) is in metric,
while our heads (at least in my age group, think my kids have made the
transition) are in imperial (which is what the British call pounds and
ounces -- if anything should wean the USians off, maybe this old insult
will?) -- consequently there is a lovely little niche for companies to
provide conversion charts -- I have one from SMA, and one from Milupa and I
have seen many more.

So, one of the materials porduced for this year's National Breastfeeding
Awareness Week is a conversion chart from the Department of Health. You can
see our resources at:
http://www.breastfeeding.nhs.uk/en/materialforclients/index.asp
scroll down to the last one - its the weight conversion chart, which can be
downloaded as a pdf -- I suspect that the DH does not do overseas orders
(!!!)

No idea what conversion they use, but you could work it out and tell us!

At least the chart saves errors in calculation, but of course, introduces
errors in reading across. Ain't it fun.
