This is meant to be a helpful suggestion, to make a good list work better.
Please don't take it as a negative comment.  Something that seems to happen
time and again is that a long string of old posts comes with a new message,
because someone hits "reply" and the whole Lactnet issue is sent.  This is
easy to do by accident, but it is courteous to try to avoid it.  Some
suggestions:

-          When replying, please remember to delete the posts that don't
relate to the reply, before sending.

-          Another way is to "copy" the message you are responding to, and
cut it down to the basic points.  Then paste that into a new message and add
your comments.

I hope these remedies will help make Lactnet more efficient for those with
limited time.
