I had written a few weeks ago about the baby with bloody stools and asked
about the incidence of this in formula feed babies. I did not hear back from
anyone.
I am going to try again for a response. Those who are health care providers
in a pediatric setting; what is your observation in regard to babies having
bloody stools that are on formula? Are there more cases of this in formula
fed babies verses breastfed, less cases, or about the same?
In the formula fed baby is the diagnosis when bloody stools are noted
allergies?
Would really love to hear what these providers observe.
