I am confused and fascinated. Is the concern that some small amount of
vaccine
will somehow leak out in close proximity to the baby and then
get into the baby? If that is the case, it seems to me that
giving the vaccination in the arm is a bad idea for any new
mother, or anyone who handles babies a lot, since
we all hold babies with our upper bodies, whether we are feeding
them or not.
Can the shot be given in the thigh for all new parents and pedi
hcps a as Ruth is suggesting?
