So consults are supposed to be done in a nurses' lounge?! What
about privacy and confidentiality? At one time before our move into
nice new space, we had a corner of our office/consult room screened
off for employee pumping and this was a big issue.
Patient/client complaints go a lot further than mere employee
concerns, or so it seems. I would suggest you encourage any
patients you see at this new location to write/phone and ask why
such a valuable service has such unacceptable quarters. If you are
unable to help a mom because you can't sell a breastfeeding aid that
might be appropriate for her situation, again, have her complain.
This is such a power play and it is apalling. As has been said
already, the equipment you were evicted for wasn't just ordered an
hour before. Either they knew there would be resistance or someone
dropped the ball. In either case, be the squeaky wheel!

Winnie
