This is a personal question, forgive it's appearance on Lactnet but
you're the breast experts! Please reply to me if it's too of topic.

My almost 10 year old daughter is today complaining of a sore
breast. She doesn't really have breasts so I was a little boggled
from the start. When I look, the sore one has a definitly enlarged
and pinker appearance, and the nipple seems dimpled inward.
I can palpate an odd little mass, firm and slightly larger than a pea.
The other nipple seems normal, flat, pale....no mass.

My family Doctor is out of town for a week, and I'm wondering how
seriously to treat this. She's my eldest daughter, and I don't know
how breast development goes. Is this odd enough to warrant
hauling her into a doctor I don't know, or is it wait and see material?

Apologies and thanks.
