If a mother comes to a lactation specialist with the request for advise on
her child's health and well-being she may expect to get an answer within
breastfeeding, isn't she?
So the only correct answers for a lactation specialist on questions like
these is to discuss induced lactation or relactation or the use of donormilk.

I agree with Gonneke. As I have read this thread, I've thought that, from
the description of the mother, she would probably be quite willing to spend
lots of money on a special formula or prescribed medication. Why not spend
that money on donor milk from HMBANA? This mother could think of it as
medication. She could continue feeding baby whatever it is that the baby
consumes, but treat the constipation with a few ounces of human milk every day.
