Just to look at this from another angle a moment--the mother is upset about
the 3 days of Pedialyte before and after surgery (if I remember the numbers
right) because she hates pumping and is worried her supply will be
impaired, yes?  Does she know how to do hand expression?  Is she willing to
try that?  Worth a try.
