She is a childbirth & parenting educator and sleep consultant, knowledgable about breastfeeding (plans to sit for the IBCLCE this year), and is attachment parenting oriented.  She meets parents where they are, and coaches them to be more aware of and sensitive to their child's needs, including noticing feeding and sleep cues early, and work within realistic expectations.  On her website, she has a Q&A blog which can give you a feel for her philosophy.  She is fabulous at getting Babywise types to loosen up.
