i think the biggest obstacle to breastfeeding is the perception that ABM is
"adequate." so many people in a position to really influence a mother will
say, well, breastfeeding is best, but formula is "okay." or at least neutral.
i like to think that all the mothers i see giving bottles to babies WERE NOT
well enough informed to make that kind of choice, rather than deliberately
choosing ABM. can you tell i was at the zoo today, where it always seems only
the mammals on exhibit have the sense to feed their babies the correct milk?
