Heather, I fully agree that we should not *purposely* use guilt in order to
get changes. But our fear for another persons feelings of guilt for
*consiously* choosing the wrong options should not keep us from saying the truth about
infant feeding.
Moms that thought they made the right choice and then, perhaps because of our
information, finds out, they could or should have choosen differently don't
need to feel guilty. They can be disappointed or angry or feel sorry. Yes, they
can feel hurt for having done different then they would have had they known
everything.
AmI making sense? Feeling not well, but still
