Hi everyone, a friend and former client asked me to forward this to all of
you and see if she could get some assistance with a proposal she is writing for
a class she is taking. She is also looking for a contact in Israel
(Jeresalem). She is an amazing smart young woman, that I have enjoyed working with and
speaking to over the last year. You may contact her directly (please cc me so I
know she receives the info), or you can email me directly @ [log in to unmask]

Thank you all,

Fwded from Ariel Neuman::

I am a student at columbia university and i am taking a class on
health policy, one of our assignments is to write a proposal for
insurance reimbursment for a particular issue. i am writing on the
reimbursment of a preventative program to help prevent mastitis in
breastfeeding women, i was wondering though if anyone could provide
me with information as to a general idea of how many cases of
mastitis are prevented by seeing a lactation consultant, it says in
the literature that between 3.8% and 9.5% of women who have vaginal
deliveries get mastitis. but to be cost effective i need to know
how many of those could be prevented if a lactation consultant was
involved (could be a gross estimate based on your expertise if dont
have a number from the literature)

On another note, i am planning on being in israel next year, and i
was wondering if anyone knew how i could get in thouch with a
lactation consultant who i could work with to get my hours to
become a lactation consultant or any other resources that would be
helpful while there (i will be in jerusalem)

thank you all for your time,
ariella neuman
